Pre-teen Dance, Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex – 1867 Valley Farm Road, Friday, November 8, 2019 - 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  Pickering Youth in Grades 5 - 8 are invited to join us for monthly dances throughout the school year. Dances feature a live DJ, fun dance themes, awesome music, cool prizes and snack & drinks. Watch for upcoming Dance themes: October - Halloween Scream Party; November - Sports Night in Pickering; December – Ugly Sweater Holiday Dance.  Dances are supervised by City staff.

Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Blood Donor Event, 1675 Montgomery Park Road, Monday, November 18, 2019 - 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Help save lives by donating blood! The Pickering Nuclear Generating Station blood donor event is open to the public and is held in the information centre auditorium. Community donors can park in the visitors parking lot. Santa Claus Parade, City of Pickering, Saturday, November 23, 2019 - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  The Kinsmen & Kinette Club of Pickering celebrates their 51st Annual Santa Claus Parade.  Community groups, schools, sports groups, business and volunteer organizations are invited to submit applications to enter floats, performance groups or walking groups for the Parade.  Applications are now available:  https://forms.pickering.ca/Forms/SCP2019 (fee:  $100 for commercial floats) Deadline is November 8th.

Annual Tree Lighting & Pickering Christmas Market, One The Esplanade, Pickering, Friday, November 29, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – Tree lighting is approximately at 6:50 p.m.  Get in the Christmas holiday spirit a this free family event including the annual tree lighting at approximately 6:50 pm.  This event includes a visit from Santa, rides, food vendors, digital photo booth, and live stage performances brought to you by OPG that include a visit from Anna & Elsa, fire show by NorthFire Circus, live dance performance from SynchroniCity,  musical performances from past Pickering stars.

Pickering Christmas Market, Esplanade Park, One The Esplanade, Pickering, Saturday, November 30, 2019 - 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  2019 marks Pickering’s first ever Christmas Market, located in the heart of our city, Esplanade Park. Expanding on the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, this multi-day event will have unique gift and food vendors, carolers and live entertainment to assure all that attend get fully into the holiday spirit. This is night two of the Christmas Market.
