PineRidge Arts Council is holding a Durham wide - Snap a Selfie with Sculpture contest on Instagram #sculpturesofdurham. We are encouraging people to get out of the house, have some fun in Durham, and take selfies with some or all of the over 70 outdoor public works of art in their neighbourhood. From simply visiting a local sculpture for the first time, to planning a grand tour to see all, the timing and choice of locations are open.  In COVID times, it is a safe way to set an outdoor goal, socially distance and “see” pieces that have been placed for our enjoyment.  Some players might want to follow a sculptor’s work in Durham and some may want to hold a competition with family and friends.  To join, share phones on Facebook and Instagram #scupturesofdurham.  Each month PRAC will award the photographer of the best liked photo on Instagram $50.

Download the list of 70 public outdoor art forms here:  https://pineridgearts.org/forms/locations_SculpturesOfDurham.pdf
